Technically, the enemy is greed. Bullshit only comes into play only after the politicians do what is best for themselves and and their ultra-rich political supporters. The bullshit is the lies, coverups, and false finger pointing at the other political party to hide their true actions - the selling out of the American people. The problems we face are simple to resolve. Even I know how to balance a budget, end our dependency on foreign oil, protect the environment, and create better paying jobs in America - BUT this would cost big business and the ultra-rich billions of dollars in profits, so the politicians ignore the obvious solutions while lining their own pockets with bribes and campaign payoffs from their ultra-rich cohorts in crime.
Well unfortunately these so-called STUPID people have all made themselves into millionaires by selling out America, so you not should assume that they are as stupid as they may appear. The career politicians pretend to be incompetent in order to hide their complicity with their ultra-rich friends.They rather we think they are stupid than to have us recognize that the majority of them are criminals and traitors who are selling out the average American for their own personal gain. I made a more serious sign below that depicts the true reason America is in decline today.
Unfortunately all the solutions that will lead to better government will never be enacted by the politicians themselves. Term limits, campaign fund raising reforms, limiting special interest and lobbyists groups, a national referendum law, and many other common sense ideas are not in the best interest of the career politician. All these necessary reforms would take power and money from the politicians and return it to the average American citizen. They will never disempower themselves willingly. Only a major social revolution will bring about the changes that America needs today.
